Global control tower operations

FLS Role: Being the single contact for all the customer’s global logistics needs

– Providing 24/7/365 hands-on global customer service via our base in Thailand

– Follow-up with the customer’s supplier globally for the production progress and finishing schedules and reporting any possibility for delays

– Coordinating with the customer’s suppliers for a timely dispatch of the ordered materials

– Planning of transport routes and methods according to cargo type, production schedule and delivery deadlines

– Booking of airfreight, LCL, FCL, RORO or break-bulk ocean freight

– Road, rail and barge transport to or from the airports and the seaports

– Pre-loading cargo inspection at the factory before dispatch via air or ocean

– Attending pre-loading or pre-discharging meetings at port

– Reporting about production progress and possible quality issues 

– Loading and discharging supervision with daily reporting 

– Daily reporting for all shipments on the road, in the air or on the water

– Dedicated team of operators and project managers, including naval architects for stowage planning, lashing and lifting design

– During the last 15 years, FLS has supported the customer on over 20 projects in the USA, Middle East, South America and Southeast Asia.
